What makes Annaleze Behr so radishing?
Student:
A BSc Home Economic (ED) degree from the University of Pretoria.
Teacher:
After graduating, Annaleze took up a position as a Home Economics and Biology teacher for Grade 8-10 pupils.
Publishing:
The publishing world beckoned and Anneleze switched the classroom for Rooi Rose magazine where she later became their Food Editor.
R&D:
Annaleze’s next position was as a Research and Development Home Economist / Food Technologist with North Hills Farm, which is a multidisciplinary Factory that mainly supplies food products to Woolworths. In addition to R&D, Annaleze was also responsible for quality control, staff training and catering for management functions.
Flavour developer:
Annaleze then moved to flavour house, Dragogo, where she managed the flavour library on a daily basis, developing and presenting new flavour applications.
Marketing:
With the dual roles of Marketing Assistant and R&D, Annaleze developed, re-formulated, wrote technical product specifications, handled quality control and product complaints as well as the food styling for packaging and label legislation.
Publishing:
Penta Publications managed to lure Annaleze back into the media arena where she served as Group Food Editor for various publications.
Freelance:
In 2003 Annaleze entered the commercial food styling arena as an independent consultant and stylist. Her client list includes Pick ‘n Pay Food Hall range, McCain, All Gold, Koo, Pillsbury, Scooters, McDonalds, Romans and Domino’s pizza, among others.
